The Spanish Lookout settlement started as a remote village in Belize in 1958 and the Texaco Service Station (Central Service which later became Caribbean Tire Wholesale Ltd.) became apart of the community 12 years later, around 1970. This Service Station was establish by some of the senior community member. In the early years all tires were purchase from local suppliers a couple tires at a time, and for lack of proper bridges during the rainy season, these produces had to be transported across the river in canoes. Today were are well establish all over the country.
The beginning of the road
In 1979, after the service station was well on its way, it was relocated in the center of town for better access by framers and public in the area.
Newly Built Texaco Service Center
Construction of a new fuel station and Tire Service Center began in early 1989. The new Service Station was completed in late 1989. After working with fuel and lubricants, and later with tires on a small scale through local suppliers for several years, more energy and time were invested in finding more direct and efficient ways of handling business. Since 1980, Industrial Hydraulic Hose assembly and sales has been apart of our business, supplying the major part of the market in Belize. We received or Tire Dealership from Hankook in 1994, and became distributors for many major brands in the following years. In 1992, a new warehouse was added in Spanish Lookout
Belize City Branch
New opportunity in Belize City triggered the construction of a new facility in 1996, which was proven very successful.
Corozal Free Zone Store
The Corozal Free Zone Store opened in 2000, focusing on the Mexican market.
Belize City Warehouse
Addition warehouse space for our Belize City Branch was added in 2002.
Orange Walk Branch
The new Orange Walk Service Center & Warehouse was completed was completed in 2003, where the sugar cane industry was a major factor in the success of this branch.
New Headquarter in Spanish Lookout
The new Head Office along with a new Service Center and more warehouse space was inaugurated in 2005.
Caribbean Motors Establishment
The CTW group opened a new department for Automotive sales in mid 2007. Since then with a dealership for Great Wall Motors Company, we have become one of the largest supplier in our country.
Belmopan City Branch
The new Service Center and Warehouse was completed in the Capital City.
